Loss of water and weight after exercise calculator
Using the calculator, we will calculate the water lost from the body and the percentage of weight loss after the exercises.
Water loss in the body calculator
Water loss in an amount corresponding to 1.5-2% body weight causes a strong feeling of thirst. The osmotic pressure of body fluids increases by at least about 2 percent. and the volume of these fluids is reduced accordingly.
A loss of about 4% of your body weight causes an unpleasant feeling of dry mouth, a feeling of muscle weakness and fatigue; sometimes it causes apathy and drowsiness.
A loss of 6-8% results in almost no salivation; the tongue is dry, swollen and stiff, speaking is difficult.
When exceeding 12% - there are disorders of conscious control of the procedure.
Depending on the environmental conditions, the direct cause of death caused by loss of body water is, inter alia, hyperthermia and circulatory failure as a result of an increase in the osmotic pressure of nerve cells and dehydration. Circulatory failure occurs as a result of a decrease in blood volume and an increase in its viscosity.
